This workshop explores how adjusting our hiring processes can dismantle oppressive aspects of professionalism by removing bias. This is a very interactive workshop with plenty of time for questions and group discussions for us to learn from each other. This workshop is best suited for those involved in recruiting or interviewing but as always, everyone is welcome to join!

Learning Objectives

Following this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the oppressive features of professionalism and its basis in white supremacy.
2. Reflect on ways you can begin dismantling professionalism in your own practices.
3. Learn actions that will reduce issues of oppression from the hiring process.
