Fostering a Workplace Free From Sexual Violence, with Guests from the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton (SACE)

In preparation for Sexual Violence Awareness Month in May, join B as he welcomes guests from the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton (SACE) to discuss the impact of sexual violence in the workplace. During this fireside chat, we will define concepts related to sexual violence, learn about bystander intervention, and review ways of protecting team members. We will also discuss common misconceptions and answer frequently asked questions, like “what ‘counts’ as sexual based violence?”, “What legislations protect employees from sexual assault and harassment at work?”, and “Doesn’t this only happen to women?”. Join us for what surely will be an impactful session as we break the silence and stamp out stigma about sexual violence.
