In this fireside chat Vincent Wells to discuss the various First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Peoples that make up the province of Alberta. From there, the group will share their experiences of learning Indigenous history and how our views and perspectives have evolved over time. Vince will discuss how Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing contrast with colonialism and share his thoughts about embracing collectivism.
Objectives
1. Learn about the different treaties that make up Alberta and discuss the Indigenous Nations that originally inhabited those territories.
