White women in DEI – Part 1
60 min. duration
Description
White women make up a siginificant portion of Canada’s equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) industry. These women have chosen to dedicate their working lives to educating Canadians on matters of social justice, including anti-racism. But what happens when white women take it upon themselves to lead the charge on anti-racism? Are they contributing positively to the fight against systemic racism? Or, is it possible that they’re doing more harm than good?
Join Nishan Yihalem and Alex Lutzko as they dive into the complexities of the EDI industry and explore the role of white women in anti-racism.
This workshop is part of a two-part series.
