We must challenge ourselves to nudge a toe over the line between comfort and discomfort to create positive change. Let’s chat about the ways in which sharing vulnerability creates trust and leads to better employee engagement and retention.
We’ll work as a group to identify strategies to use in prickly situations, helping to boost confidence and help participants feel more equipped to be a workplace equity champion.
Learning Objectives
During this workshop, participants will:
1. Learn why it’s so critical that we tackle tough conversations when our instincts are telling us to run away
2. Reframe vulnerability as a solution, opposed to a weakness
3. Acknowledge the risks of avoiding difficult conversations
4. Learn to replace fear with calm and confidence using some simple tool and strategie.
